HP easy scan

DID NOT CORRECT MY PROBLEM,
I recently upgraded my OS to OS X 10.10.3 now my HP scanner will not scan to e-mail, so I downloaded Easy scan to correct problem, but when I attempt to use scanner I get the following message "an error occured during scanning” which is the same message I received prior to downloading Easy Scan
Before I downloaded Easy Scan, I downloaded all current drivers from HP and this did not fix any problems either.
Scanner worked fine prior to upgrading to the OS X operating system
