HP Scanners and El Cap not mixing well.

The last printer update (3.1) pushed by the App Store broken the already flaky scanning behavior of my HP multi-function. After a wasted night of faffing around reinstalling the network, resetting the printer, and reconfiguring the network, I gave and downloaded this app.

The good news for me is that it works at all. The bad news is that it only works with the document feeder. Scanning a driving license or somesuch is a no go.

Hopefully a new driver will appear that will allow me to switch back to using Preview to scan, as this app is clunky even without the feeder shortcomings. If/when that day arrives, I’ll be deleting this app.
