HP OfficeJet 8610 —> now USELESS to me

I used the “scan to computer” option daily. This no longer works. PLEASE stop updating my printer over the internet. First you killed third party inks, now the scanning is broken?

People are blaming El Capitan but I successfully scanned to my computer *after installing El Capitan* so it must be your product and software.

Shame on you for selling a product that constantly needs upkeep. I will end up tossing this in the trash and buying a product that works. Thanks for wasting my money HP!
