Able to use software only after reinstalling it each time.
I am not sure if it is a HP issue or an Apple issue but the simple fact is that the software will only work the first time I use it after it is installed. If I quit HP Scan or turn the computer off, I receive the following message:
HP Officejet Pro 8610 [4B1CF8] is currently unavailable. Please check if it is turned on and connected, or try again later.
The printer itself works fine. The issue is with the scanner.
Frustrating.
